Stylish Blogger Award and a Clean and Simple Card!

  ***I am a Registered Nurse, I work at a VA Hospital taking care of the veteran's who have served our country. 

  ***I have lived in a lot of places, as my Dad was in the Air Force. (Spain, Philippine Islands,Massachusetts, North Dakota, and mostly in Illinois growing up.)

  ***I have 2 daughters, Jenn 31, Cristine, 29, and 1 adorable Grandson, Hunter who is almost 6 years old.

  ***I have 2 Grand cats, Dirk & Geronimo. Rascal was a Grand cat, now he is a son. lol

  ***My favorite hobbies are rubber stamping, scrapbooking, reading.

  ***I have been separated since last April, and should be divorced this month.(My choice)

  *** My favorite color is PURPLE. I have loved it since High School.

  *** I love to travel!  This was a Clean & Simple Challenge, "Out of the Box"

We were to add something "out of the Box".  I think my "shots" qualify.  One of my friends at work asked me to make her a Get Well card.  I hope she likes it!!!

                               Well, it's that time of the month again!!                The Design DIVAS Oldies But Goodies Blog Hop, that is!!   Our blog hop showcases cards made with items that we’ve had “stashed”.  An  “oldie but, goodie”  that we’ve pulled out and blown the dust off of to create something with it.      This card was actually made more than 6 months ago, so it is definitely an OBG!!!  Sorry, the picture isn't the greatest!!    The stamps are all  SU: Both Way Blossoms, Love ya Bunches and Itty Bitty Backgrounds. The Card stock is  from Papertrey,Aqua Mist,  which ws put through the Cuttlebug (Swiss Dots), SU Shimmery White and the dp is SU Everyday Blessings. Design D*I*V*A*S Blog Hop !!

2 Cards, 3 Challenges!

It was my day off today, so between loads of laundry, I managed to get 2 cards done!! This card was a Sketch Challenge SC262 I decided to use a variety of colors! Pacific Point, Pixie Pink, Elegant Eggplant, Basic Grey "Sugar Rush" & Gina K Pure Luxury. Ink is Memento Black & Pacific Point. I added a paper flower with a silver brad and a piece of scrap ribbon. I colored with Prismacolor Markers. Stamps are SU For a Friend, Penny Black "Bubbly" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This card was 2 challenges in one! Sketch Challenge SC263 and Color Challenge CC254 . The colors used are: B ashful Blue, Soft Suede, Ruby Red, Very Vanilla, Basic Grey "Sugar Rush" dp. For "dessert", stripes. These aren't colors I use very often, so it was very challenging for me!!! The dp seemed to have all of the colors I needed in it! I used my Nesties Scallops & Ovals and added a piece of SU soft Suede dotted ribbo
