Shopping DIVA...

Image
This is a fun image!!    Her name is JJ and she is a Shopping Diva, by Bug-a-Boo   digi images.  I colored her with Copics. Cardstock is Yo Yo Yellow, a misc. Purple, Gina K Pure Luxury White. The dp is SU Razzleberry Lemonade. I added her much needed bling with Stickles, and stick on Gems. This picture just doesn't do her justice.. Her dress is actually a Flourescent Pink,(FRV1) and her shoes, bags, purse and straps are glittery.   When looking at the pics on my computer, they look like they do in real life, but when they get posted here, they are washed out..  Even the bling, doesn't look "Blingy."  I photographed them in daylight without a flash. If anyone has any suggestions, I would love to hear them...  Hope you enjoyed the Diva...

Best Friends

Image
This is a fun card. Reminds me of many, many years ago in school with my BFF, Mary Lou!!  We still keep in touch, after 47 years, since 5th grade!!  Boy, am I old!!  Too bad we both don't still have the same skinny bodies!! ha ha    This is a Mo's Digi, Best Friends Forever. The image is printed on Gina K Pure Luxury (I don't use anything else), cardstock is SU Pretty in Pink and Yo Yo Yellow. DP is Basic Grey "Sweet Threads". I colored with Copics, used the Creative Memories Corner Rounder, added some Primas and yellow ribbon.  I just wish I could get the hair coloring right.   Also, it seems lately my pictures aren't coming out very clearly. Guess I'll have to figure out what I'm doing wrong. I believe I photographed them in daylight.  I'll have to keep practicing!!

A card for Hunter

Image
Isn't this little guy cute?? I made this card for Hunter, my Grandson.  He has a dog, likes trucks, and I'm sure has held many frogs!!   The digi is by Melonheadz "Little boys".  It is colored with Copics, cardstock is Cable Green, DP is Basic Grey "Hello Luscious". The image is on Gina K Pure Luxury.  I rounded the corners with my Creative memories Corner Rounder. I just love that tool!! Didn't add anything else, since it is for a 6 year old boy!! I just mailed it a couple of days ago to him. I'll have to see how he liked it!!

Let's Party!!

Image
Here is another Karen's Doodles , called "Freedom".   I'm calling it "Let's party." Cardstock is Gina K, White and the Pink is from the Romance Collection. The dp is Kaleidoscope (SU). I colored with Copics, added blue and silver Stickles for the suds. I used the SU Photo Punch, Scallop Punch, added some Bling!  The sentiment is from an old miscellaneous set. Sorry, I don't know the name.  I sponged the circle with Melon Mambo.                                                                               Hope you enjoyed "the party".

Balloons for my Dad....

Image
This past Wednesday was the 3 year Anniversary that my Dad left us for Heaven... My Mom came to spend the week with me.  I didn't want her to be alone, and I had to work several of those days.  We got some balloons to send them up to Dad.... Here is my Mom holding them all.  (Hers is the Blue one)       Mine is Purple (Of course), the Orange one is from Hunter for Great-Papa!                      These 2 are from my daughters, Jenn & Cristine.                        I'm sure my Dad enjoyed watching us!!!

Birthday Fairy!!

Image
I hope everyone is having a great holiday weekend!  I'm actually working on the 4th, but that happens when you work in health care. I'm used to it...I finally have colored a few images, and last night made a couple of cards. I happened to have this card colored, then checked Karen's Doodles . A perfect challenge for me!!! It is a PURPLE challenge!!     This is the "Birthday Fairy".  Isn't she a hoot?? I colored her with Copics, added a lot of Stickles, because of course, a Birthday Fairy should be glittery!! I Added some more bling to the corners, plus some photo corners I punched out with my SU punch. The Cardstock is  GINA K, White and Purple from the Romance collection (I think). I can't recall where the DP is from.                                                 I hope you like her!!   My Mom was here for the week visiting. last Saturday we went to a Dinner theatre and had a marvelous dinner and saw a Musical about the life of Patsy Cline
