Birthday Fairy!!

       I hope everyone is having a great holiday weekend!  I'm actually working on the 4th, but that happens when you work in health care. I'm used to it...I finally have colored a few images, and last night made a couple of cards. I happened to have this card colored, then checked Karen's Doodles. A perfect challenge for me!!! It is a PURPLE challenge!!
    This is the "Birthday Fairy".  Isn't she a hoot?? I colored her with Copics, added a lot of Stickles, because of course, a Birthday Fairy should be glittery!! I Added some more bling to the corners, plus some photo corners I punched out with my SU punch. The Cardstock is  GINA K, White and Purple from the Romance collection (I think). I can't recall where the DP is from.   
                                             I hope you like her!!
  My Mom was here for the week visiting. last Saturday we went to a Dinner theatre and had a marvelous dinner and saw a Musical about the life of Patsy Cline. It was great show! The singer was wonderful, and there was lots of comedy!! My friend Diane, joined us.
     Then on Tuesday, I was at work, and had some chest pains. They worried me because they were different from my "usual"acid reflux chest pains. One of my co-workers took me to the ER. I was kept over night and had a stress test in the morning. I did not have a heart attack, and my heart is very good!! That is a relief, since my Dad and brother had bad heart disease.  The day of my stress test, was also the 3rd Anniversary of my Dad leaving us for heaven.  So, maybe it was all stress related......  I'm good now!!

Glad you are ok, sorry you had to go through the stress, I am sure your dad is smiling upon you though and very proud of you. That is wonderful that your mom got to spend some time visiting. Love your card, you have such fun images that you color up and make into cards. Thanks again for that yummy award. :D

Darling cards Cindy. So glad you are ok. I had the same thing happen to me last month. I had to stay overnight and do the nuclear stress test. I had the same problem, acid reflux. They worried cause 10 yrs ago I had 5 bypasses after a heart attack. Take care of yourself and keep on stamping. Hugs!

It looks like your mojo is back! I love the card! The colors are great, even down to the way you did the grey eyeshadow!

I am so sorry to hear about the hospital stay, wow. However I am so glad to hear you had it checked out. So many women ignore the symptoms that could indicate heart disease, as I'm sure you are all too aware of. Now you have the peace of mind that all is okay. Also know that I appreciate that you, and others, that have to work on the 4th are there to help, thank you!

I'm back!!

             Hi everyone!  I haven't been on my blog since 2012!  I can't believe it has been that long.   So many things have changed in those 9 years!!   I just retired on Jan. 28, 2021.  Now I hope to spend more time doing fun, relaxing things.  I thought the first thing would be to try to get my blog back. It doesn't look anything like it did, and I have to figure this out. I've tried for the longest time to get on it, and it would just keep coming up to a "widget" advertisement page.
