Cindy's Antics! Stamping, Scrapping, Crocheting, Family!!!

        It was great to have a Saturday off and nothing to do, except create!!   This was the 3rd card I managed to make.  Isn't she a cutie??  Her name is even Cynthia!!        She is a digi from the Stamping Boutique .   The challenge there this week was to make a Birthday card.  I think this works!!  The challenge over at "Craft your days away"  was "Distressing."                 I colored with Copics, distressed the edge and sponged the white edges with YoYo Yellow ink.  Stickles were added for a little bling. I added some mulberry flowers with brads.  The sentiment is from SU, but I cannot recall the name.     Some good news...my DD Jenn, just started a new career, as a car Saleswoman at a Kia dealership.  Well, she made her first sale on Saturday!! She just started on Jan. 2, so is very happy!!!  

         This week's challenge over a t Phindy's Place was to make a shaped card.   Over at Fussy & Fancy Friday Challenge , the challenge was "Let it Snow."    This card fits both.   The cute image is from Phindy's, called  "Back to Nature."    The shape is made with the Creative Memories shape makers. I colored with Copics, shaded with Pebbles Chalk and added a piece of glittery ribbon.  The dp is from DCWV, The Christmas Mat Stack, card stock is Brilliant Blue.   Not very fancy.  It's my first card in a week or so.  Just getting back into the groove!!         Well, off to make something else!!!

    That is the name of this week's challenge at Sassy Cheryl's.   The challenge is called "Bright & Cheery to chase away the winter grey."    This little cutie is called "Little Girls Flower."   I think it makes me a little cheerier!! Yesterday we got 3.2 inches of snow. It looks like about 6 inches or more to me!!    I colored her with Copics, shaded with Pebbles chalk. The dp is SU Razzleberry Lemonade, card stock is Pretty in Pink. I used a Creative Memories decorative corner punch, added a Fuschia Mulberry Flower, and I made a bow with the Bow-Easy. It's my second one!!   I hope she was able to chase away your winter greys or blahs!!!

      I've never made a belated Birthday card before, but I had to think up something "cute", so this is what I came up with.... I thought it went well with the image.  This is a Designed2Delight Image,    "Snow Dog" .  I made the print paper using a Paw print Stamp by Stampabilities. The paper is YoYo Yellow and of course, black.  I colored with Copics, added a flocked Snowflake from a piece of DP, "Holidays" by Martha Stewart. I also used a little paw punch on the side border.  I added a piece of YoYo Yellow to the inside and used the Paw punch on that as well.            Challenges:   Fussy and Fancy Fridays  "Happy Birthday or Animal Print" Hope you have enjoyed your visit!!

      Finally, I have made a card!!! I've just had 3 days off, and I managed to make 2 cards today, actually!!  Tuesday I went to the doctor. I have had 3 cold sore break outs in the last 3 weeks!! I was good for 2 days, Saturday when we had Christmas with Hunter, and the following day.  Monday after I ate lunch at work, the blisters appeared again!!  I am so tired of them!! Now I am finally in the healing stage. My lips are just very, very dry and sore! I've gone through 2 tubes of Nivea Smoothies hydrating lip balm!! Seems I have to apply it every 5 minutes!!          Well, enough about my lips!! Lets get on with the card!!!   This cute little guy is Noah, and he is from Sassy Cheryl's . His friends are Waldo & Tweety.   Side View   Close up of the dp, by Martha Stewart "Holidays", which I got for Christmas. It has flocked snowflakes and the scalloped border is pre-cut.     Well, this past Saturday, we all got to have Christmas with Hunter!! We all had a great time!!  His Mama gave him a Zombie thing? and Hunter got to make Brain Barf, Bubbling Brains, Skin and bugs!!  We all got to eat and drink them!! Yummy!!! ha ha  Then he played the Wii with his Mama and Auntie while Grammie and Great Grama watched and cheered them on!!  Hunter and his Stocking from Santa   Mama & Hunter   Brain Barf,  yummyy!  Here Mama, try some Great Grama got the sour part!!     Let's try some skin now!  Mixing up the Bubbling Brains! !  Look at them bubble!!  Look at the spider!  Mama & Hunter playing the Wii  Family!!   Auntie & Hunter  Hunter & Mama   Grammie & Hunter Hunter & Great Grama Hunter got 8 quarters from the Tooth Fairy for his first tooth!!
