I thought I would try Aly's Sketch challenge this week. I just LOVE Snowmen!! Especially with their carrot noses!! I am almost done!! Nothing is wrapped of course, but that is the easy part!! I have 12 hour shifts on Monday & Tuesday, then I'll be off for 7 days!! Yayyyy!!! Work has been going well. I've been full time Telephone Triage for 4 weeks now. I started training a new RN last week. That will make 6 of us full time, but we need at least 10 more Nurses yet, before we can completely separate from the Emergency Department. Who kows when that will be. I've had a busy and fun weekend!! Finally got a lot of stamping done!! Design D*I*V*A*S* S.S. Challenge #6 was to make some Christmas tags. This set is by Stephanie Barnard- the {stamps} of life, Set#3 Joy of Christmas. Black ink, Hunter Green Ink, Real Red Ink, Ski Slope dp, Shimmery White cardstock, Green, White & Opalescent embossing powder, Crop-a-dile. These tags are made out of Real Red & Shimmery White cardstock, Ski Slope dp, Stamp is Holiday Tag Team, Memento Black Ink, Real Red, Hunter Green & Kiwi Kiss Ink. Prismacolor markers, Nesties, Cuttlebug, Crop-a-dile. This card was for Alyssa's Challenge & Design D*I*V*A*S #5, Winter Holiday Card. It looks blue in the pic, but it is PURPLE!!!! Today was a fun day!! My DD Cristine and my SIL Gail joined me at a "Year of Cards" SU Stamping/Scrapping event. We didn't make the scrapbook pages, just the cards. We had a great time! Took us 2-1/2 hours to make these 12 cards. I have the Recipe at the bottom, but not broken down for each card, as I'm not sure of all of the names. I did not know that if you use Black ink on Gloss White cardstock, it turns out purple!! (As in the Halloween card) Very cool!!! I love this Berry stamp, may have to order it!! I had to change the sentiment when I got home, as I smeared the one I made there! Aren't those die cut Flowers the greatest??!! I Love Loads of Love! This is a very Patriotic card!! The Valentine is embossed. I like both of these cards, but especially the 2nd. Colors are great! The white piece is embossed, but it is hard to tell. These 2 turned out cool too!! Hunter took my picture! We took Hunter Trick or Treating to a local outlet mall. He was a "Scary Monster". That is Jenn and my Mom with him. Today he had his Halloween party at school. School was closed last week due to the flu!! I hope he had a good time!! Today my Mom picked up her little doggie (my sister) Trixie from the vet. She got "fixed" yesterday!! Now she needs TLC !!
