Cindy's Antics! Stamping, Scrapping, Crocheting, Family!!!

I can't believe it has been 20 days since my last post!! December is just too busy of a month!! My birthday was on the 15th, and my co-worker Wendy made me an Angel food cake with PURPLE Frosting!! It was quite yummy!! This is my little cubbie at work!! You can see that Hunter is my screensaver! I have pictures of my PURPLE flowers on the left, my PURPLE Snowflake scrub jacket is on the back of the chair, and my PURPLE pen is on the desk!! I have on PURPLE shoes, but you can't see them! This is a pic of my Mom, Matt(Cristine's BF), Cristine, Hunter, & Jenn with their Christmas Stockings. The kids stockings were all originally made by my Mom. They were hand sewn and beaded. I added the fabric lining to them. My Mom embroidered the names on the top. My husband & I each have one too. Mine is probably 40 years old!!! Here are a few of my goodies. I don't have anything crafty to post today, but I do have SNOW!!! I actually have to leave for work in an hour!! I hope I make it!! I think we have gotten 16" so far!! This picture is out our bathroom window of the deck. This is out of the front door! This is my car!! Actually my husband just parked it on the side of the garage yesterday, so he could put his plow in the garage. I'm driving the 4WD to work. Glad I don't have to shovel it out!! This is the front of our house. I of course, would have took a better angle! ha ha We are still supposed to get more snow yet, and then very cold freezing temps!! So, off to work I go!!!

Just look at what my Wonderful Secret Sister, Gina made and sent to me!!!! OMG!!! I just love it all!!! A beautiful beaded keepsake box, a Snoman Globe ornament, Purple Primas, Purple Ribbon, a Purple Magentic notepad, a Purple card, an fantastic Snowlady card!!! 2 Adorable gift tags, an adorable Penguin stamp, and MFT stamp set, a gift card envelope, Twinkling H2O's and some rhinestone Snowflakes... Oooops, I forgot to take a picture with the Giant Dark Chocolate Hershey bar, Dark Chocolate Hershey Kisses & the big box of Jelly Bellies !!!! Gina , you really out did yourself. I absolutely love it all!! My most favorite is the Snow-lady card!!!! I just love Snowmen with carrot noses. The embossing is fantastic and I love the wired on snowflakes!!!! I just realized I didn't have the Christmas Tree shaped ornament in the picture either!!! Thank you Gina!!!

Thanksgiving and all of the trimmings are over!! We had 2 great dinners. I got to visit with my Mom, and also got to go visit my DH Jenn & DGS Hunter. Jenn had to work, so I took her containers of leftovers!! Spent 3 days with them! Did a little shopping on Saturday and got good deals at the Kitchen Store!! Also got some very good deals on CyberMonday. I've finally got all of my Christmas shopping done, now just to get it wrappped!! I was a little crafty today. At work we are having Secret Santa for the month of December. I made each of us a name tag for our stockings. As you can see, Carol & I are PURPLE lovers. Our tags as well as our stockings are PURPLE. Everyone else has plain, old , red!! I used nesties, misc Christmas DP and Real Red card stock. Today was a fun day!! My DD Cristine and my SIL Gail joined me at a "Year of Cards" SU Stamping/Scrapping event. We didn't make the scrapbook pages, just the cards. We had a great time! Took us 2-1/2 hours to make these 12 cards. I have the Recipe at the bottom, but not broken down for each card, as I'm not sure of all of the names. I did not know that if you use Black ink on Gloss White cardstock, it turns out purple!! (As in the Halloween card) Very cool!!! I love this Berry stamp, may have to order it!! I had to change the sentiment when I got home, as I smeared the one I made there! Aren't those die cut Flowers the greatest??!! I Love Loads of Love! This is a very Patriotic card!! A while back my Mom's dear Friend 'Lane sent me check that was really unnecessary , and I wanted to return it to her, so I made a card out of it!! I used the Creative Memories Flower Punch to make the flowers and leaves. The paper is Lovely Lilac and Pixie Pink . I used a butterfly stamp, but don't remember the name of it. I forgot to take a picture of it when I made it, so when we just visited her last week, I got to photograph it. She thought it was a hoot!!! This weeks Design D*I*V*A*S Secret Sister Challenge was to make a purse! So I went to MelStampz and made this purse gift card holder from the many templates she has available.! I plan to make another and "perfect" it. The top wasn't supposed to be creased, but I couldn't get it to stand up without creasing it. aggrrrhhh !!! Finally, I've gotten the last 2 Design D*I*V*A*S S.S. challenges done!! The first one was to be a Christmas Card Box type ornament. The picture isn't the greatest, but all of the Red flowers have Red Stickles on them, so they are very glittery!! Well, finally I've gotten a few cards done!! With being on my little vacation and working, AND getting addicted to FARKLE (Facebook) I just haven't had enough time!! If only I didn't have to work!!! Well, my short little vacation is over!! My BFF Rebecca and I went to San Francisco for 4 days. The weather was beautiful, in the high 70's, no rain, no fog!! Of course, I downloaded the pictures backwards!!. This first one is my Dungeoness Crab at Nonna Roses's on Fishermans Wharf. It was delicious!!! This is me at Muir Woods!! Just look at the size of the trees!! It was breath taking!!! Here is Rebecca & I. We went out to a club called Asia SF. The "lady" waitresses are really "boys". They lip synched, but were great at dancing on the Red Bar right across from us. They were absolutely gorgeous!! The food and drinks were awesome!! Here is the Golden Gate Bridge. Just awesome!!! Thursday will be the last day for our PM Secretary, Ann, in the ER where I work. She is retiring after 35 years!! She is a Hello Kitty FANATIC !!! I found this free digi download at http://www.hellokitty.com/ . It was actually a whole coloring page, but I just used the main image. I found a bunch of Hello Kitty stuff at Target in the $1 isle, including this bag. I filled it with the goodies, plus a Halloween jar filled with her favorite, Candy Corn. I found a cute little Hello Kitty stuffed toy too! I colored the image with Prismacolor markers, and used my new Crop-A-Dile to attach an eyelet to the inside so that I could hang the Hello Kitty Ribbon. She does not know it, but there was a collection taken up and we got enough money to send her to New Zealand for 5 weeks in Nov-Dec to see her daughter and 3 grandchildren. I was in Wausau this weekend with my Mom. She had a stress test on Friday, since she has been having some chest pressure. The test came out normal , so it is probably just a lot of stress and anxiety. She also got me a new "Sister", Trixie !! She is a TeddyBear (Part Bichon Frise and Shitzu. She belonged to my daughter Jenn's friend, and she couldn't keep her anymore. Her name was Roxy, but my Mom changed it to Trixie. Isn't she cute?? She took her in and had her groomed and they put in these cute little pink ribbons! They didn't stay in long though! Trixie and me!! She has her new rawhide bone in her mouth, which she loves!
