Hello Kitty-- See my new "do"!!!

Thursday will be the last day for our PM Secretary, Ann, in the ER where I work.
She is retiring after 35 years!! She is a Hello Kitty FANATIC!!! I found this free digi download at http://www.hellokitty.com/. It was actually a whole coloring page, but I just used the main image.
I found a bunch of Hello Kitty stuff at Target in the $1 isle, including this bag. I filled it with the goodies, plus a Halloween jar filled with her favorite, Candy Corn. I found a cute little Hello Kitty stuffed toy too!
I colored the image with Prismacolor markers, and used my new Crop-A-Dile to attach an eyelet to the inside so that I could hang the Hello Kitty Ribbon.
She does not know it, but there was a collection taken up and we got enough money to send her to New Zealand for 5 weeks in Nov-Dec to see her daughter and 3 grandchildren. Her daughter has lived there for 11 years, and she has not even seen the 2 youngest kids yet!!
I'm sure she will be very surprised!!! Well, I went and had my hair cut and colored today! How do you like my PURPLE Streak??

Love your hair!!!! The Hello kitty stuff is awesome.. I just did my 5 yr old daughters birthday all in Hello Kitty and she loved it. Your friend is so blessed to have friends who care about her so much. That is such an awesome gift that you all are able to give her(time with her family)

Wow! She'll love her Hello, Kitty gifts, but boy...a trip to New Zealand AND seeing her grandchildren- THAT is a priceless gift!

Great hair! Love the purple streak! Maybe I should do that for football season!! Purple IS the Ravens' team color!! :)

2 Cards, 3 Challenges!

It was my day off today, so between loads of laundry, I managed to get 2 cards done!! This card was a Sketch Challenge SC262 I decided to use a variety of colors! Pacific Point, Pixie Pink, Elegant Eggplant, Basic Grey "Sugar Rush" & Gina K Pure Luxury. Ink is Memento Black & Pacific Point. I added a paper flower with a silver brad and a piece of scrap ribbon. I colored with Prismacolor Markers. Stamps are SU For a Friend, Penny Black "Bubbly" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This card was 2 challenges in one! Sketch Challenge SC263 and Color Challenge CC254 . The colors used are: B ashful Blue, Soft Suede, Ruby Red, Very Vanilla, Basic Grey "Sugar Rush" dp. For "dessert", stripes. These aren't colors I use very often, so it was very challenging for me!!! The dp seemed to have all of the colors I needed in it!
