Scene in a Garden

I was checking out blogs today,and I was at Shelly's and I came across a tutorial by Michelle Zindorf and CASED this card. Doesn't exactly like hers, but I really enjoyed it. I must try this again. I didn't have the same colors to use that she did, so I had to improvise. I used Porcelain Prints DP, Black & Gina K White Cardstock. Ink colors were, Kiwi Kiss, Handsome Hunter, Crushed Curry & Close to Cocoa.The stamps sets were Scene in a Garden & Branch Out. I added black & white check ribbon and a brad in each corner.I colored the boots,bird and bench with Prismacolor Markers & Pencils. Thank you Shelly!!! Here is a pic of my new OTT lite. I really like coloring by it!

Had lunch with one of my BFF's today. Earlier today I was in the cleaning mood. Vacumned behind all the bedroom furniture, dusted, washed all the bedding and cleaned the ceiling fan. That is enough work for one day!! Maybe my husband & I will go out to dinner tonight. Tomorrow is our 3 year Anniversary, but I have to work 12 hours.

Absolutely and totally awesome! Your coloring is perfect! I love my Ott light- bought it for needlework, but still using it- what a difference it makes. Zindorf is coming back here next may- I wonder how far you are from here?.......

2 Cards, 3 Challenges!

It was my day off today, so between loads of laundry, I managed to get 2 cards done!! This card was a Sketch Challenge SC262 I decided to use a variety of colors! Pacific Point, Pixie Pink, Elegant Eggplant, Basic Grey "Sugar Rush" & Gina K Pure Luxury. Ink is Memento Black & Pacific Point. I added a paper flower with a silver brad and a piece of scrap ribbon. I colored with Prismacolor Markers. Stamps are SU For a Friend, Penny Black "Bubbly" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This card was 2 challenges in one! Sketch Challenge SC263 and Color Challenge CC254 . The colors used are: B ashful Blue, Soft Suede, Ruby Red, Very Vanilla, Basic Grey "Sugar Rush" dp. For "dessert", stripes. These aren't colors I use very often, so it was very challenging for me!!! The dp seemed to have all of the colors I needed in it!
