Nurse Margaret and......

Image
Here is a new card....finally!!!!  It is Nurse Margaret, by Bug a Boo!!   I made her to send to the Staff that cared for me during my recent hospital stay. I hope they like it!! She is colored with Copics. The card stock is by Gina K, Pure Luxury Vibrant Violet & White. The dp is Bazzill, "Jaybird Street". I rounder all of the corner with my Creative Memories Corner Rounder (Did I ever say how much I love that tool? ha ha)  Then I added some stickles and some bling!!  Her hair and glasses are more purple looking IRL.     Now....here is my new car!!! Just got it on Wednesday!!  My daughter, Jenn,  is a car sales person, and of course I bought it from her.  It is a 2011 Kia Optima LX.  I didn't really know I was looking for a car!!  The price was very right, and I knew that my car was going to be needing some major work soon, so I bit the bullet!!   Thanks for looking!!! Come back again, soon. Hopefully I won't stay away so long!!

Well, it's that time of the month again!!                The Design DIVAS Oldies But Goodies Blog Hop, that is!!   Our blog hop showcases cards made with items that we’ve had “stashed”.  An  “oldie but, goodie”  that we’ve pulled out and blown the dust off of to create something with it.      This card was actually made more than 6 months ago, so it is definitely an OBG!!!  Sorry, the picture isn't the greatest!!    The stamps are all  SU: Both Way Blossoms, Love ya Bunches and Itty Bitty Backgrounds. The Card stock is  from Papertrey,Aqua Mist,  which ws put through the Cuttlebug (Swiss Dots), SU Shimmery White and the dp is SU Everyday Blessings. It is colored with Prismacolor pencils .I used brads, ticket corner punch, SU Circle punch, Papertrey Ribbon and Stickles.             This is one of my favorite cards!!!!      Well, I hope you enjoyed your visit.   Now it is time to visit  Mary at Mary's Impressions.     You

DP is a Martha Stewart paper. I used the CM corner rounder again. Sentiment is SU Spring Pictogram. Hi everyone....

Hi there!! I know I've been missing for awhile.... I've been here, just not in the mood for blogging.  I still have a lot of pain if I sit up for too long. I had a CT scan yesterday, and it showed no hernia or infection in my abdomen, so I guess it's just post op pain that is staying with me longer than normal.  Just my luck!!!  I have to go back to work tomorrow, too!  Wish me luck.  I have to sit for 10 hours, so we will see how that goes!!    I did color all of those images last week....     I did get 3 made up, here is one....    This cutie is "Buttercup Suzie", by Sassy Cheryl's.  I originally made her for a challenge with "Buttons & Bows" but, didn't get it done in time. Card stock is Elegant Eggplant, DP is DCWV Pocket Full of Posies, Gina K Pure Luxury White. Colored with Copics, added buttons and twine. The sentiment is an SU set, but do not recall the name. It is stamped in Vibrant Violet. (By my blogger friend, Cindy G)  Al
