Oldies but Goodies...

                            Yes, it is that time again!!  
                 Time to visit the Oldies but Goodies Blog hop!!!

     Our Title Acronym stands for: Divine, Inspirational, Virtuous, Artistic (or Annointed) sistahs! Our group originated at SCS back over 2 yrs ago and has recently branched out to the new FB group.
     Our blog hop showcases cards made with items that we’ve had “stashed”. An “oldie but, goodie” that we’ve pulled out and blown the dust off of to create something with it. 

      So please join us as we journey along the way to discover some hidden treasures we’ve had tucked away that we’ve designed just for this special occasion with many more to come!
       Here is this month's card. It is a Shower card I made for my co-worker, Wendy. 
We had a SURPRISE Shower for her at work this past Saturday.  She is getting married on Sept 9 to a Dennis, former co-worker of ours that works in the Emergency Department. (We work in Telephone Triage).

         The paper and ink are from Papertrey, Aqua Mist in color.
The white paper is Gina K Pure Luxury. It's the only white I ever use!!  I stamped some hearts on the background. These were a miscellaneous stamp I got years ago from a kit.

 The dress is a Hallmark embellishment which I mounted on a Nesties, Labels One in Aqua Mist and mounted that one on White. I sponged the edges with Aqua Mist. Added 2 "Blingy" flowers

 The sentiment is from "Heard from the Heart", which I mounted on a piece of shimmery ribbon and added some pearls.  I chose Aqua Mist, because Wendy's favorite color is green and it matched the gift bag I got perfectly.
