1. I was married for 18 years, have 2 beautiful daughters, Jennifer & Cristine. Jennifer gave me my first Grandson Hunter. I've been with Tom for 9 years, married for 3. He has 2 children, Jason (Brooke), Hattie(Noah & Calla) we have 3 grandchildren. Cristine is almost finished with school. She'll have a triple major, Accounting/Business/Marketing.
2. I decided "later in life" to become a nurse. have been for 14 years now.(Last 9 as an ER Nurse) Jennifer just graduated in December 2008, and is a Critical Care Nurse.
3. I've always been a "crafty" person: painting ceramics, dough art, cross stitch, needlepoint, crochet, glass bead jewelry, and now scrapbooking & rubber stamping! (I used to work at Ben Franklin, in the crafts department) while going to Nursing School. Talk about being enabled!!
4. I was an Air Force Brat! I lived in The Philipene's-Palma de Majorca,Spain-Massachusetts-Minot,North Dakota-Melrose Park,Il. while my Dad was in the service.
5. I love traveling. I've been to Mexico (5 times), Jamaica, Hawaii, Florida, Grand Turk & Caicos, Bahamas, California, Montana, Wyoming, Kentucky, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Ohio, W.Virginia, Colorado, Arizona, Michigan, Indiana, Iowa, South Dakota, Minnesota.
6. I used to love reading until stamping took over my life! I probably have owned over 1,000 books. Now I read when I go on vacation, or at work during lunch!
7. I love baking Christmas Cookies. I usually make at least 12-15 different kinds!!
