Cindy's Antics! Stamping, Scrapping, Crocheting, Family!!!

I thought I'd try another color version of " Peace Within ". I used Pacific Point cardstock & DP and Gina K White. I rounded the corners with my Creative Memories corner rounder. Colored with Prismacolor pencils , shaded with Pebbles ch alks. The ribbon is also Pacific Point. I also used the Photo corner punch , and added some gems . Don't look, but I did go out of the lines on the skinny, skinny leaf!! I was too far into coloring, I just couldn't start over!! I got a new OTT light today. I was even able to use a Michael's 50% off coupon for it!! I was looking online for them and found that they were available at Michael's. They were about 40% higher than online, but I figured with the 50% off coupon, and no shipping charges, it was well worth it. Plus I got to check all of the different models. Today I joined another Blogging group, the "Stamp Berries." It is still forming, so I don't yet know what is in store for us! I'm sure it will be fun!! Isn't our Badge cute??? Here is a new card I made today. I finally got out the new SU Rich Razzleberry & Razzleberry Lemonade paper, and Ribbon !! I colored with Prismacolor pencils & Gamsol . I sponged Yoyo Yellow around the edges. Added some bling to the pillow! The stamp set is Peace Within . I need to start adding to my Birthday card supply, so I just colored this already stamped image I've had lying around! The paper is Taken with Teal, CM dp, Melon Mambo & PTI White . I used my Nesties and a pair of decorative scissors . The HB is Cee-dees stamp, and the kitty is Penny Black . I colored with Prismacolor markers & Pencils . Hope you like what you see today. Here is my Sweet Dreamers Challenge #4 "Word Has It". We were to only use words as the focal point and no coloring allowed! That was hard, not being able to color anything!! The Color Challenge on SCS was to use Taken With Teal, Close To Cocoa & Very Vanilla. I used Taken With Teal Ink, punched the border with a Martha Stewart Punch , and added a few Primas & Brads . The stamp set is " Sidekick Sayings ." So I spent my day off not doing much of anything. Went grocery shopping for my salad ingredients and a few things for our Annual Weekend in the Wisconsin Dells. Got a few fun things for the kids plus yummy snacks that they will like. I believe there will be 18 of us! We rent the condos they have and we take turns having the main meals at our places. We usually only go out to eat once. That saves money since there are so many of us! Hope the weather co-operates!!

This weeks challenge was to make a grid card. I just got this new House Mouse "BooBoo Bunny", so thought it would be perfect. I colored with Prismacolor pencils and markers. Image is stamped with Black ink, paper is Chocolate Chip, Pixie Pink, & Pretty in Pink. I had to post this card of Hunter & I in the tent. He loved it so much!! Now don't look at my double chin!! I made this card a few days ago for a co-workers daughter's birthday. I must do this in another color soon!!! The base is Melon Mambo, PTI White . Ink is Pink Pirouette, Pretty in Pink , Melon Mambo and Certainly Celery . I really like how my dp came out!! The stamp is SU Greenhouse Garden. The HB is a misc, See-Dee's. I made 3 versions of this card. I just LOVE Black & White!! This is an American Art Stamp . The paper is Making Memories Slice (B&W), Black, PTIwhite . I used my CB border and added black dots to the center of the flowers. She does have a hot pink earring! Also a black glittery prima, brad and ribbon. Now, the fun part!! Hunter & I made this tent in the living room. We were in and out of it about 4-5 times today! We also stayed in our jammies. It stormed all day, so what was the point of getting dressed?? I finally got my computer back today!! I got some kind of a trojan virus on it on Thursday and had to take it in again to be fixed!! Agrhhhh!!!! I couldn't decide what to use for the Sweet Dreamers Challenge#2 card, which we were to use something recycled . So I started looking in my garbage can (in my craft room)!! Everything, except the card base is from the garbage!! I was practicing on the flower stamps and didn't like any of them for the card I was originally making, but actually thought they looked ok for this card. The card base is Pretty in Pink , the white is PTI. The stamp is SU Greenhouse Garden . I used Pink Pirouette , Pretty in Pink , Melon Mambo and Certainly Celery inks. The top green paper is the backside of a misc. dp, and the bottom green is a piece of Kiwi Kiss. I added a piece of green sheer ribbon and popped one of the flowers up on a dimensional.
