The other evening I downloaded a Digi from DeeDee's Digi's.  I thought he was adorable!! Paper is Real Red, Gina K Pure Luxury White, misc dp.
I colored with Prismacolor markers and pens. I should have waited a longer time I think, because the markers smeared the printer ink. The coloring of his body isn't my best work!! I sponged the edges with Real Red and added some bright brads. How do you like him??
This new layout process is throwing me off! It has definately changed from a few days ago!!
Yesterday I received my Secret Sister package!!!  My Secret Sister was Angie (Renski on SCS).  Look at all of the goodies she sent me!!!  I ate the chocolate right away!!!

Cindy your card is great. I have the same problem too with the markers smearing the printer ink and maybe I have not waited long enough either for the printer ink to dry!
You have a wonderful secret sister!! Look at all those gorgeous goodies!! Love them.

Hi Lucie! Your card turned out great, that's a really cute digi image. The star brads are perfect and I like your blue checked dp.

I just thought I would share a little tip with you to help keep your ink from smearing.

I do this all the time and it really works. After you print your digi image heat set it using your heat gun. I usually go over my image for a good 30 seconds. Let your image cool and then you should be good to go. Heat setting the image does help, but I still tend to try and not color along the lines too much. I hope this helps you.

Great fourth of July card. The sponging around the edges really adds a nice touch. I usually spray my digi images with a spray mat fixative, it is the only way I can get them to not smear.
Awesome patriotic card. I like the image and what you did with it. Thanks for sharing the picture of the great stuff you got from your SS. I can't wait to get mine.
