Cindy's Antics! Stamping, Scrapping, Crocheting, Family!!!

     I guess I was in one of my "Purple Moods"...   I love purple!! This is a new Gina K stamp, "Friends are Forever".  I used multiple pieces of Lovely Lilac Designer paper & cardstock, Gina K white cardstock. Nesties Labels Two, SU Oval & Scallop Oval punch, Pierced holes in the scallop oval. I colored with Prismacolor Pencils, shaded with Pebbles Chalk, added some stick-on bling!! Hope you like it!!  Now lets see what kind of color mood I'm in next!! I made this card several days ago..  I haven't been able to get in the mood for a few days. Have some things happening in my personal life right now.

Our Secret Sister Challenge this week was to make a "vintage" looking card.  Don't think I've ever done Vintage before, so this is my first try. The Stamp is SU -  "A Kind Word."  I used Porcelain Prints DP, Very Vanilla and Gina K cardstock. I roughed up the edges and tore the paper, as you can see. I colored with my Prismacolor markers, shaded with Pebbles Chalk. Added some Primas, brads, and Blue Bayou ribbon. I'm really not too happy with the card overall. I do like the image, she is very cute.  Here is a close up . I will have to practice more for the "Vintage look". Hope you enjoyed looking!!     I had a very busy day today, visiting the CPA to get my taxes done, got a haircut, shopped at the Dollar Tree for donations for work. We are collecting personal care items for our Homeless Veterans here in Madison, and parts of the state where we have outpatient clinics.  Our department has collected over 130 lbs so far. So, it doesn't look like a whole lot of snow, but I think we got around 18". The terrible thing was the wind, up to 30mph, leaving huge drifts everywhere!!  I was not able to go to work today, as the driveway wasn't cleared. The weatherman was telling everyone to stay home and off the roads.  The plows weren't plowing, they were rescuing stuck people!!  My maintenance guy said the snow on the street went up to the headlights on his truck.  He came over, because my heat was out!!   As you can see, it is a little chilly.(53 degrees)   Heat finally came back on at 5:45pm. Luckily I have a gas fireplace, as that kept me warm.   I did make a card today, I think it fits perfectly!! You can't really see the sparkle of the snow. Paper is Gina K white, SU Black. White ink, silver and blue stickles, snowflake brads, and a piece of ribbon. Hope you like it!!

Well, we got more snow today, not sure how much, but more is on the way!! I've been busy working inside today. I got myself a new printer, hooked it up all by myself, and it even works!!  I removed a dresser in my craft room, replaced it with a table and some rolling bins. Made more more, and looks nicer.  The dresser went upstairs to the extra bedroom.  My daughter Cristine came over and helped me get it up there. You should have seen us!! I had to stop at each stair, and there are about 20!! We laughed the whole time and I was out of breath!! Tomorrow, I'll take up the drawers.    As you can see, I gave Rascal his own little place since he has to be near me every second of the day!! Now maybe he won't try to lay on the keyboard when I'm typing!! Here is my latest card!! It does look like spring, doesn't it?? It is SU Branch Out, I used Green Galore,YoYo Yellow, and Chocolate Chip Ink. I added stickles to the butterflies.  The cardstock...

I completed this card last Sunday. I finally got out the 'ol Cuttlebug, and used the Nestabilities Peony dies. An old SU stamp, "Tree for all Seasons", I used Prismacolor pencils, Pebbles chalk, Creative Memories Scallop corner punch, Pacific Point Card stock and DP, Gina K White, and a piece of ribbon matching the colors in the tree.  Makes you think of spring???   Next is another "springy" looking card. The stamp is "Spring Song", I used Prismacolor pencils, Pebbles chalk, stickles, Nestabilities Labels One, Prima flowers, brad. Paper is Gina K White, Pacific Point and SU DP (don't know the name).  I should have used a smaller flower, as the little guys wings are partially covered.  I sent it to my Mom to send to a friend, and she liked it! So, very busy at work right now. Working a lot of overtime. Gotta take more time to myself!!  Hope you enjoyed looking!!!

My new furniture finally came!! I ordered it the day before Thanksgiving. It is all reclining. I just love it.  That is Rascal in the picture. I love the picture over the Love Seat! It is 3 oak trees in Reds, Oranges, silver.  I went for RED!! I have this great painting over the fireplace I like to think is Tuscany, Italy.   I finally made another card too! It was a challenge on SCS to use Pink-Purple and Hearts. The paper is all Gina K. The VD stamp is a Hero Arts, and the heart background is a SU Wheel, Love. The ink is Melon Mambo. I added a few brads, ribbon, and rounded the corners. I also shaded with some pink glittery chalk. Well, I'm working on another card now. Try to be back tomorrow!!
