Organizing!!

Well, today started out a little lazy..watching Sunday morning TV..  Then I developed a migraine!! My 3rd one in 3 days!!  I'm sure getting tired of them!!  Luckily I can take Imitrex, and they usually go away within a couple of hours.      Well, once I started to feel better, I organized my digital stamps...  I printed all of them in categories by the maker onto a blank sheet of paper, and them put them in a binder.    Next I put all of my clear and unmounted stamps in plastic sleeves and put them in a binder also.  It filled up a 3" binder.  I have more, but theya re in CD cases, so I think I will leave them as they are.   I also renamed all of my cards that I have downloaded in My Documents by Maker and name of stamp.   Now I feel so much more organized!!!       I also went through all of the Stampin Up stamp sets that I do not want anymore....

Looking forward to spring!!!

Well, we got more snow today, not sure how much, but more is on the way!! I've been busy working inside today. I got myself a new printer, hooked it up all by myself, and it even works!!  I removed a dresser in my craft room, replaced it with a table and some rolling bins. Made more more, and looks nicer.  The dresser went upstairs to the extra bedroom.  My daughter Cristine came over and helped me get it up there. You should have seen us!! I had to stop at each stair, and there are about 20!! We laughed the whole time and I was out of breath!! Tomorrow, I'll take up the drawers.    As you can see, I gave Rascal his own little place since he has to be near me every second of the day!! Now maybe he won't try to lay on the keyboard when I'm typing!! Here is my latest card!! It does look like spring, doesn't it?? It is SU Branch Out, I used Green Galore,YoYo Yellow, and Chocolate Chip Ink. I added stickles to the butterflies.  The cardstock...

Well, it has been 2 months since I last posted!! I can't believe it!!  I rearranged my computer/craft room.  Now I just need to get some stamping done!!!  I did make a Valentine for my Grandson Hunter.  This is the front, wasn't very creative, I know.  The inside is a little more exciting... On the outside I used The Stamps of Life, and a miscellaneous stamp from Hero Arts. Added a little bling. The red cardstock in Papertrey, The white is Gina K Pure Luxury.  The inside is a little more exciting. Hunter loves trucks, so I filled it with hearts!! **AKA** My Love!! I hope to get some more cards done soon!!

Organizing, Valentine, Thank You!

I've spent almost the entire day reorganizing my stamping area. This is my desk (looks messy, but it's really not!). I have 3 carts that I keep most of my stamps in. My finished cards are in the purple basket. Under the desk I have a lovely Panera Bread bag that holds all of my Bubble wrap and shipping envelopes. See the salt lamp on top?? Not sure if it's actually given me any health benefits yet, but I'm keeping it on!! Next is the built in bookshelves that my DH built several years ago for my huge book collection. The doors open up and there are shelves all across the back wall. To the left is my Bookmark collection. My Koala Bear and Teddy Bear are almost as old as me. I got them when I was about 1 year old! A lot of the books have left the building, and have been replaced by stamping/scrapping supplies. My primas & ribbons are on the shelves as well in those 8 white containers. To the left of my desk is my container of baggies with all of my scraps, in a...

I finally organized my designer paper!

Wednesday I started the day off with being very dizzy with position changes. I went to work and hoped that one of the ER docs could help me out. I just got dizzier and began throwing up, so my husband had to pick me up and take me home. I went to the Doctors office on Friday and was diagnosed with BPV (Benign Positional Vertigo). It is an inner ear problem that causes a spinning or whirling sensation when you move your head. Back in the day, that would happen after a few too many alcoholic beverages!! I had this about 5 years ago and it lasted almost 2 months. I have a Physical Therapy appt next week, so hoepfully that will help a lot. (It did in the past.) So today, since I can sit and make some movements without getting nauseated, I thought I would sort out my Designer paper! They are not in any particular order, but my SU is in the front, I have Creative Memories in the middle, and Miscellaneous print and solids in the back. This will help a lot when making a card and knowing the ...
