Cindy's Antics! Stamping, Scrapping, Crocheting, Family!!!

      I've never made a belated Birthday card before, but I had to think up something "cute", so this is what I came up with.... I thought it went well with the image.  This is a Designed2Delight Image,    "Snow Dog" .  I made the print paper using a Paw print Stamp by Stampabilities. The paper is YoYo Yellow and of course, black.  I colored with Copics, added a flocked Snowflake from a piece of DP, "Holidays" by Martha Stewart. I also used a little paw punch on the side border.  I added a piece of YoYo Yellow to the inside and used the Paw punch on that as well.            Challenges:   Fussy and Fancy Fridays  "Happy Birthday or Animal Print" Hope you have enjoyed your visit!!

   Finally...I have colored again!!  This is a cute little Snowman from Designed2Delight. I don't know why I continually color the images before thinking of the layout I will use.  I had the hardest time picking a background dp for this.  It seems the Christmas papers didn't match right, none of the greens matched, neither did the turquoise ones.  So, maybe I will remember, next time...pick layout first, then color!!   I used Copics, my Creative Memories Corner Rounder, SU circle and Scallop circle punches.  The sentiment is an Inky Antics stamp.     Yesterday was our family Thanksgiving.  This is me and my Mom cutting of the making for our Polish Dressing. You either like it or hate it!! It has the giblets (liver,heart,gizzards, neck) plus carrots, eggs, celery, onion, bread and seasonings.    Last weeks challenge at Designed2Delight was this cute Tree stamp, called "Lovely Tree."  Check out the challenge over there!!       The card stock is SU Really Rust and Tangerine Tango. The dp is Basic Grey "Sweet Threads."  I colored the tree with Copics, and punched out some hearts with a Creative Memories Heart Punch.  The sentiment is from SU "Warm Words." I also used the plain and scalloped oval punches.   It is a cute stamp, isn't it??     Well, tonight is bowling again!!  Let's see if I can top last weeks high game of 188...      Isn't this guy cute??  He is from Designed2Delight , called "Snow  Dog." The Saturday challenge over a D2D , calls for cute critters, the 4 legged variety.      The challenge over a t Phindy's Place this week was a Christmas card in BLUE ...    I decided to use BLUE and PURPLE....      This is a Phindy's Image, called "Back to Nature."          There is also a challenge over at   Stamps R Us , called "Nature's Gifts." Also, over at Designed2Delight , this weeks challenge is "Cute Critters."  I do have a Designed2Delight image, but am using this one for the time being.    My card base is SU Lavender Lace, the dp is Creative Memories "Winter".   I also added a piece of Bashful Blue.  I colored with Copics, added some Silver Stickles to the snowflakes, which are from SU.           I'm baaaack, again!!!  I have just been busy with working and generally feeling lazy and no creativity!!   My Mom arrived on Tuesday to stay for 2 weeks. Yesterday was her birthday, and she went with me, my daughter Cristine & BF Kris to watch us bowl.  I actually had a 150 game!!! I got the holes made in my ball made a little bigger, and it really helped.  We were tied for 2nd place, but we lost one game last night.  Hopefully that doesn't ruin our standing too much!!   We did have fun though..  We will celebrate my Mom's birthday on Saturday, so that Jenn, my other daughter can join us for dinner. She has a new job and works the pm shift, but will be off on Saturday.  I've got to get my knee injected, but have to wait for 4 weeks!!         Here is Designed2Delight's Friday Freebie !!  This one is called "Hope 2011." Check out the site.  You need to purchase the first digi image, but as long as you post it to your blog before the following Friday, you receive the next Friday Freebie for FREE .  I'm not really excited about my coloring! They are pretty purples, but I just couldn't get a good picture!!  The little flower started out as a big one, but I ended up cutting the outer layer off, and I have it on Dimensionals.     The "Thanks so very much" is from Gina K, "Framed Greetings." It only lasts for 13 weeks, and we actually get a free bowling ball and bag.  I already have my own, so I will get a gift certificate to use in the Pro shop.  I haven't bowled for quite some time, so I hope I do well!!   I'll let you know!!!

     I don't think I ever participated in World Card Making day before.  I have 2 !!  The first one is a Designed2Deligh t digi. I made a different variation of it about a week or so ago.  The name is Autumn Harvest. The sentiment is an SU from the set "Give Thanks." The cardstock is Real Red and Only Orange.       Hi everyone!!  I've been missing for a week!!  I went to visit my Grandson, Hunter last Saturday, then went to visit with my Mom for a few days.  Hunter and I had a great visit. We swam for a little while, then he played a little with my nintendo DS.         We had breakfast at the Hotel Restuarant. He had pancakes with Strawberries!!      We then went to see "Dolphin Tale."  It was a cute movie, and he enjoyed it.  It was in 3D, but Hunter didn't really like the glasses. It made it too dark in the theatre, I think.       I even got to visit with my BFF, Rebecca. We went to dinner for 3 hours!  It was nice catching up!  She borrowed me a few books to read, one of them "The Help."  I saw the movie a couple of weeks ago.       I finally got 1 card made on my vacation, so far.  This was another "...

       This is a wedding card I made for my Co-worker Wendy, and her new husband, Dennis.    I used to work with Dennis when I was in the Emergency Department.  He makes the best Apple pies, and gives us girls great neck/shoulder rubs!!      I tried to make the Happy Couple look like them!  Wendy wore a mauve color dress, Dennis had a black tux, but I made it dark blue.  I think they are cute!!!            This is an image by The Paper Shelter , called "The Happy Couple."
