Make a Wish..... Happy Birthday, Dad!!!

Image
My Mom asked me to make her 2 cards with this cutie.. This is a digi from Mo's Pencil .  The first card I followed Sketch #188 Over at Cute Card Thursday .  Card #1      Cardstock is PTI Aqua Mist, the  DP is SU Bermuda Bay. The sentiment is SU "Friendship Blooms."  I colored with Copics and shaded with Pebbbles Chalks. I added some Primas , the fancy flower is from the "Chantilly Collection"  Card #2  Close up    I'm also going to enter the "Anything Goes" challenge over at   The Paper Shelter .    Today would have been my Dad's 76th birthday. My Mom, daughters and me, will be sending him some balloons this afternoon!!  Then we will be having Tacos and playing some games.  Now, my Dad always said he did not want to play, but he would ALWAYS be yelling out answers, then we would eventually get him to play along with us!!!   I miss him so much!!! Dad & M...

Your FRIENDSHIP makes my heart HAPPY.

This week I decided to play along with Mo over at Mo's Digital . The challenge is to use your   "Favorite Mo image PLUS a sentiment".     This darling image is called "Make a Wish".  Isn't she adorable??  I decided to distress most of the edges. I added purple flower brads in all of the corners.  The little flowers in the dp kind of look like the dandelion fluff in the image, don't they?  The dp is by K & Company, "Jubliee", and the card stock is Pretty in Pink. The sentiment is from SU "Friendship Blooms."  I used Melon Mambo ink.                       I colored with Copics and shaded with Pebbles Chalk.     I couldn't decide which background I liked better, so I decided to post both. The top one I photographed on my dark purple pillow, and this one on my lavender bedspread.  Just can't seem to get my pictures to come out how I would like them!! ...

Best Friends

Image
This is a fun card. Reminds me of many, many years ago in school with my BFF, Mary Lou!!  We still keep in touch, after 47 years, since 5th grade!!  Boy, am I old!!  Too bad we both don't still have the same skinny bodies!! ha ha    This is a Mo's Digi, Best Friends Forever. The image is printed on Gina K Pure Luxury (I don't use anything else), cardstock is SU Pretty in Pink and Yo Yo Yellow. DP is Basic Grey "Sweet Threads". I colored with Copics, used the Creative Memories Corner Rounder, added some Primas and yellow ribbon.  I just wish I could get the hair coloring right.   Also, it seems lately my pictures aren't coming out very clearly. Guess I'll have to figure out what I'm doing wrong. I believe I photographed them in daylight.  I'll have to keep practicing!!

Here is another digi Image from Mo's Digital Pencil .  This is called "Whats cooking" When I bought her, the purchase was price was only $1 and it was  used as a fundraiser for the  people of Japan after the Tsunami.  Wasn't that awesome of Mo?     I have used Perfect Plum, Orchid Opulence & Almost Amethyst. Birthdays!!

Image
My first card is an Elzy Bells's that I bought several month ago when there was a clearance sale.  I don't recall the name. I stamped the image on Gina K white Pure Luxury, then stamped again and colored with Prismacolor & Copics. I popped it up on Dimensionals, added the balloon ( Crazy for Cupcakes ), the sentiment is from Stampendous .  I added a little dimensional dragonfly I got at Michaels a few days ago. All of the K &  Company embellishements were 40% off. I shaded the sky, grass and road with Pebbles chalk, and added some Sakura gel pen to the chrome, hubcaps, and balloon.  You can't really see it in the picture!!      My next card is a Digi print from Mo's Digital Pencil  a few days ago as well. Isn't she adorable??  She doesn't have a name, but I'm calling her Rebecca !!    I colored her with Copics & Prismacolor markers. Added some shading with my Pebbles chalk, and added 2 Primas with brads....
