I thought I would try Aly's Sketch challenge this week. I just LOVE Snowmen!! Especially with their carrot noses!! I've been full time Telephone Triage for 4 weeks now. I started training a new RN last week. That will make 6 of us full time, but we need at least 10 more Nurses yet, before we can completely separate from the Emergency Department. Who kows when that will be. I've had a busy and fun weekend!! Finally got a lot of stamping done!! Design D*I*V*A*S* S.S. Challenge #6 was to make some Christmas tags. This set is by Stephanie Barnard- the {stamps} of life, Set#3 Joy of Christmas. Black ink, Hunter Green Ink, Real Red Ink, Ski Slope dp, Shimmery White cardstock, Green, White & Opalescent embossing powder, Crop-a-dile. These tags are made out of Real Red & Shimmery White cardstock, Ski Slope dp, Stamp is Holiday Tag Team, Memento Black Ink, Real Red, Hunter Green & Kiwi Kiss Ink. Today was a fun day!! My DD Cristine and my SIL Gail joined me at a "Year of Cards" SU Stamping/Scrapping event. We didn't make the scrapbook pages, just the cards. We had a great time! Took us 2-1/2 hours to make these 12 cards. I have the Recipe at the bottom, but not broken down for each card, as I'm not sure of all of the names. I did not know that if you use Black ink on Gloss White cardstock, it turns out purple!! (As in the Halloween card) Very cool!!! I love this Berry stamp, may have to order it!! I had to change the sentiment when I got home, as I smeared the one I made there! Aren't those die cut Flowers the greatest??!! I Love Loads of Love! This is a very Patriotic card!! A while back my Mom's dear Friend 'Lane sent me check that was really unnecessary , and I wanted to return it to her, so I made a card out of it!! I used the Creative Memories Flower Punch to make the flowers and leaves. The paper is Lovely Lilac and Pixie Pink . I used a butterfly stamp, but don't remember the name of it. I forgot to take a picture of it when I made it, so when we just visited her last week, I got to photograph it. She thought it was a hoot!!! This weeks Design D*I*V*A*S Secret Sister Challenge was to make a purse! So I went to MelStampz and made this purse gift card holder from the many templates she has available.! Finally, I've gotten the last 2 Design D*I*V*A*S S.S. challenges done!! The first one was to be a Christmas Card Box type ornament. The picture isn't the greatest, but all of the Red flowers have Red Stickles on them, so they are very glittery!!
