Cindy's Antics! Stamping, Scrapping, Crocheting, Family!!!

For some reason, I just haven't been able to make anything for several weeks now. I thought I would go way back... and post a picture of the very first card I made in 2007 and posted on SCS in my gallery to see how far I've come!!  I went to a Stampin Up "Stamp a Stack" day.  It was fun, and I guess I got hooked!!     Here are 2 of my favorites that I made in the last few months. (2011) I think I've come a long way, but still have a lot of room for improvement in my coloring skills.   I hope to get my mojo back soon!!!   Thanks for looking!!!

    Finally got another card made!! Maybe I'll be on a roll now!!!  I got this about a month or so ago from Hambo Stamps , it is called Pig Party!  Isn't it a hoot??!!   Cardstock is Only Orange, DP is Basic Grey "Sweet Threads", and of course, Gina K White Pure Luxury!  Colored with Copics, added Balloon Brads and twine. I sponged around the image with YoYo Yellow. (Mainly because I dropped the yellow marker above the image after I already was finished coloring!!)  The sentiment, I made it up and printed it on my printer.          We had a really bad storm last week on June 8.  This was the sky afterwards. Isn't it cool???                                       This picture was only 1 minute later!!   I have to work 3 days in a row now. I just had 2 off. Hopefully I can get a card made each night??

An “oldie but, goodie” that we’ve pulled out and blown the dust off of to create something with it.          So please join us as we journey along the way to discover some hidden treasures we’ve had tucked away that we’ve designed just for this special occasion with many more to come!    Here is my "Oldie".  This is a Penny Black Stamp, "Morgan". The setiment is by Inky Antics. Papers are Lovely Lilac, Bashful Blue, PTI White, and Mulberry.  I LOVE Mulberry paper.  Why don't I use it more???  This time, coloring was by Prismacolor Markers and pencils.

       OK, so I was on vacation for a whole 10 days!! I don't think I made 1 single card!! I just didn't have it in me!! I need my mojo back!! I don't know what is wrong!!  I just had 2 days off again, and today I had a 3 hour nap!! Starting tomorrow I have to work 3 in a row, maybe I'll feel like making something after work one night!!       I made this card right before vacation for a good friends daughter who graduated from High School.  I cut the "2011" out of her Graduation announcement. This is a Sassy Studio Design , "Cassie's Graduation". The paper is a dark gray, Real Red, and Gina K Pure Luxury White. I colored with Copics and added some Stickles to the Flora Doodles flowers.  I sure hope Mariah likes it!!   I'm entering my card over at CuteCardThursday  for this weeks challenge, was to embellish the main image.  My embellishment is her tassel. It is made from an actual tassel and a button brad to hold it in place.
