Miss Belle has another Birthday!!

Image
Finally, I've been able to make some more cards!!!  I have had them colored since last weekend, just got to build them today.   Yesterday I worked, and then spent all night watching the Royal Wedding recaps.   I enjoyed all of it!!!  I thought Kate's wedding gown was beautiful.  So was her evening dress that she wore!!  William looked just like his Mum with his facial expressions!!  I wish them the best!!!     Well, getting to may card.  This is Miss Belle from Bug a Boo stamps..   Isn't she a hoot?? I colored her with all Copics, the papers are all scraps. Added some Stickles for a little sparkle.  I wasn't really sure what to do with her mouth.  I couldn't really tell if it was to be open or closed....What do you think??     Next is a digi by Meljen, from Whimsy Stamps..It is called "A girl and her kitty".. I also colored her with all Copics.  I think I shaded her pants and shoes pretty good...   I'm still  working on that!!  Not too good

I paper pieced everything!  (Except Suzy herself and the bubbles).  The pink base is Gina K from her Romance assortment. The blue dp is the same Forever Flowers. I don't recall the pink print. It may be Melon Mambo. The white is Gina K Pure Luxury.  I added some ribbon and some Primas. I colored with Copics.   I cut the kitty out of a wood grain paper,(SU-Autumn Meadow)  the tub and rug are SU Forever Flowers. The claw feet, slippers and wine glass is out of a metallic silver paper. Disregard the flock on the kitty. I didn't realize there was extra on him when I took the picture. Hope you enjoyed my paper piecing!! Everyone have a Happy Easter!!   I have to work, so no Easter Dinner for me...  ;o( We are going to order out for lunch, however.  My Mom is home in Wausau, but the neighbor's invited her over for Brunch.  My daughter's a

The sentiment is by Great Impressions. I love it!!   The base is YoYo Yellow, the pink is by Papertrey, and a misc. dp.  I colored with Copics, and shaded with Pebbles chalk.   Isn't he cute??  He is from the Whipper Snapper set- "Spring has Sprung".  All of the layers are scraps as well as the dp.  The base is Bashful Blue.  Not much coloring, but I used Copics.   This cute little guy, I don't even know where he is from. A few years ago, I traded some images with someone and got him.  He is actually embossed in black, so the color

Also used a Creative Memories decorative corner punch.  Then added a little ribbon at the bottom.     Here is another cutie from Phindys Place.   It is called "For You".  I'm not sure if she has a name, I will call her Sadie.  She kind of looks like a Sadie to me!!  See her cute little friend hanging out of her pocket??     I have used mostly Copics on her, her face is Prismacolor.  The card base is Pale Plum, the DP is SU Cottage Wall. The white is Gina K Pure Luxury.  I added a couple of FloraDoodles, Handmade Fl

More Mrs. Comfy

Image
Remember all of those images I colored last week?  Well, here are 3 cards I made of  Mrs. Comfy.  I think she is a hoot!!  This first one is Mrs Comfy & her friend Rose.  Looks like they just had a fabulous shopping day!!  Most all of my coloring now is with Copics, as I have about 24 of them.  I have had to use some Prismacolors as well.  This cardstock is from Papertrey, the DP is SU Kaleidoscope, and the white is of course, GINA K..  I didn't add any embellishments, because I loved the flowers on the dp.   Here is a close up the the 2    Next is Mrs. Comfy whoopin' it up!!!  The card base is  SU Soft Plum, the darker color looks like Purely Pomegranate, but it is a shade lighter. I can't for the life of me tell you the name of it or who it is made by.  It does match nicely though. The dp is SU Cottage Wall. I added some Handmade FloraDoodles I recently got from SCACD  Susanas Custom Art Card Designs.  (Sorry, my pic is blurry)   Here is a close up

Donor Rememberance Ceremony

Image
Yesterday I attended my 2nd Donor Rememberance Ceremony honoring the donors and the donor families of Tissue donors.  My Dad passed away suddenly and unexpectedly June 29, 2008, 10 days after successful heart surgery.    He was always helping people while he was alive, and has continued to do so after his death.  So far we have been told that his tissue donation has helped as many as 49 people, 1 person has received 8 skin grafts.  It is a wonderful feeling, knowing that many people are benefitting from our loss.     Here are a few pictures....   The Butterfly is a symbol of Hope and New Life. Our Certificate of Appreciation, Brochure, Candle, Cookie Cutter and Tissue  Candles from year 1, 2 and yesterday.   Me, Cristine (one of my 2 daughters) and Mom   This is m y Mom lighting the 5th candle.  I'm sorry, I can't remember the significance of the 5 candles.  Behind is the National Quilt that travels from place to place.  We have a quilt square on the Regi

Organizing!!

Image
Well, today started out a little lazy..watching Sunday morning TV..  Then I developed a migraine!! My 3rd one in 3 days!!  I'm sure getting tired of them!!  Luckily I can take Imitrex, and they usually go away within a couple of hours.      Well, once I started to feel better, I organized my digital stamps...  I printed all of them in categories by the maker onto a blank sheet of paper, and them put them in a binder.    Next I put all of my clear and unmounted stamps in plastic sleeves and put them in a binder also.  It filled up a 3" binder.  I have more, but theya re in CD cases, so I think I will leave them as they are.   I also renamed all of my cards that I have downloaded in My Documents by Maker and name of stamp.   Now I feel so much more organized!!!       I also went through all of the Stampin Up stamp sets that I do not want anymore.  I have 14 sets so far.   If anyone is interested, email me and I will let you know what I have.   peccindy@yahoo.com
